For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on 100% of peripheral B cells and may also be present on certain myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 acts as a key regulator of normal and malignant B cell proliferation and is expressed in all B cell precursor leukemias.

As a signal-amplifying coreceptor for the B cell receptor (BCR), CD19 lowers the threshold for antigen receptor-dependent stimulation. It can also signal independently of BCR co-ligation, serving as a central regulatory component for multiple signaling pathways.
Mutation of the CD19 gene can result in hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression leads to B cell hyperactivity.
