Product #84540 has been successfully used in Western blot, IF, ICC, IHC, IP, and FACS applications.
This antibody reacts with the heavy chains of mouse IgG and with the light chains common to most mouse immunoglobulins but does not react with non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species may occur.

Store protected from light at 4°C. To extend shelf-life, add an equal volume of glycerol to reach ~50% final concentration and store at -20°C.
DyLight 550 Amax = 562 nm; Emax = 576 nm. Mole Dye/Mole Protein Ratio is lot-dependent.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target molecules.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, they are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
