Product Specific Information
A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45946 was sufficient for detection of VPS35 in 10 µg of SH-SY5Y by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Detects approximately 92 kDa.
Target Information
VPS35 is part of the vacuolar protein sorting (VPS) gene family. The encoded protein is a component of the retromer complex involved in retrograde transport of proteins from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Structural similarity between yeast and human proteins suggests functional conservation. Expression studies indicate that this protein interacts directly with VPS35, serving as the core of the retromer complex.
