A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45949 was sufficient for detection of VPS35 in 10 µg of SH-SY5Y by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 92 kDa.
Target Information
The VPS35 gene encodes a component of the retromer complex, which mediates retrograde transport of proteins from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. The structural similarity between yeast and human retromer components suggests conserved function. VPS35 serves as the core of this complex and interacts with other VPS proteins in yeast and mammalian cells.
