- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.3% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-6, recombinant human IL-6 R, and rmgp130 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
Interleukin 6 receptor (IL6R), also known as CD126, is a type I cytokine receptor. It encodes a subunit of the IL6 receptor complex, which regulates cell growth, differentiation, and immune response. The IL6 receptor complex includes IL6ST/GP130, shared by multiple cytokines. Dysregulation of IL6 and IL6R is linked to diseases such as multiple myeloma, autoimmune disorders, and prostate cancer. Alternative splicing produces distinct isoforms, and a pseudogene exists on chromosome 9.
