Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse SIGNR3 and SIGNR4 is observed.
- Approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human DC-SIGNR and mouse DC-SIGN is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
SIGNR1 is a type II transmembrane C-type lectin identified as a mouse homologue of human DC-SIGN.
It is highly expressed in splenic marginal zone and lymph node medullary macrophages, where it mediates uptake of dextran polysaccharides, including the capsular polysaccharide of Streptococcus pneumoniae.
SIGNR1 associates with TLR4/MD2 and is implicated in LPS recognition.
SIGNR1-deficient mice show defects in complement component C3 catabolism, and SIGNR1 binds directly to complement subcomponent C1q to form a non-conventional C3 convertase.
