Target Information
DNA-dependent RNA polymerases catalyze the transcription of DNA into RNA using the four ribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates. This antibody targets a common component of RNA polymerases I, II, and III involved in the synthesis of ribosomal RNA precursors, mRNA precursors, and various functional non-coding RNAs. POLR2F/RPB6 is part of the clamp element in Pol II and contributes to the binding pocket for the RPB4-RPB7 subcomplex.
