Target Information
Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of beta-1 integrin and plays a key role in integrin-mediated signal transduction.
ILK is a serine/threonine protein kinase containing four ankyrin-like repeats and regulates cellular responses to extracellular matrix signals.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
