Target Information
EPHB3 is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the ephrin receptor family. Members of the Eph family play important roles in biological processes such as nervous system development, angiogenesis, and neural synapse formation and maturation. Ephrin ligands and Eph receptors exhibit reciprocal expression in vivo, with both developing and adult neural tissues expressing nearly all Eph receptors and ephrin ligands. Ephs and ephrins play a significant role in angiogenesis.
