Target Information

CRP (C-reactive protein)는 5개의 동일한 비당화 서브유닛으로 구성된 주요 급성기 단백질로, 각 서브유닛은 206개의 아미노산으로 이루어져 있으며 분자량은 약 24 kDa입니다. 간에서 생성되며 염증 반응 시 혈중 농도가 급격히 상승합니다.
CRP는 선천 면역에서 중요한 역할을 하며, 보체 경로를 활성화하고 단핵구 및 대식세포를 활성화합니다. 또한 크로마틴, 히스톤 등 다양한 핵 성분에 결합하여 세포 괴사 시 스캐빈저 역할을 수행합니다.
CRP 수치 상승은 손상, 감염, 염증 반응 중 100–1000배 증가하며, 고혈압 및 심혈관 질환 위험 증가와 관련이 있습니다.
