Target Information
IRF3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3)는 type I interferon (IFN)-의존성 면역 반응의 주요 전사 조절 인자입니다.
DNA 및 RNA 바이러스에 대한 선천적 면역 반응에서 중요한 역할을 하며, IFN-alpha 및 IFN-beta 유전자와 ISG (IFN-stimulated genes)의 전사를 조절합니다.
IRF3는 감염되지 않은 세포의 세포질 내에서 비활성 상태로 존재하다가, 바이러스 감염 또는 double-stranded RNA, toll-like receptor 신호에 의해 IKBKE 및 TBK1 kinase에 의해 인산화되어 활성화됩니다.
활성화된 IRF3는 핵으로 이동하여 CREB binding protein과 결합해 dsRNA-activated factor 1 (DRAF1) 복합체를 형성하고 type I IFN 및 ISG 유전자의 전사를 촉진합니다.
IRF3 유전자 변이는 감염 유발성 급성 뇌병증(herpes-specific 7)과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다.
