Product Specific Information
Reconstitution:
Dissolve the protein in sterile double-distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/mL or lower. It is recommended to aliquot the protein and use as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
CXCL12 is a stromal cell-derived alpha chemokine belonging to the intercrine family. Together with its receptor CXCR4, it can activate lymphocytes and is implicated in cancer metastasis, including breast cancer. Mutations in CXCL12 are associated with resistance to HIV-1 infection. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
