Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
The Collagen triple helix repeat-containing protein (CTHRC1) is a glycosylated, secreted protein transiently expressed in the arterial wall in response to injury. It contributes to vascular remodeling by inhibiting collagen expression and deposition while promoting cell migration.
CTHRC1 is highly expressed in multiple human cancers, including pancreatic cancer, where it plays a significant role in progression and metastasis by regulating migration and adhesion of tumor cells. Overexpression can serve as an independent prognostic marker in gastric cancer. Mutations at this locus have been associated with Barrett esophagus and esophageal adenocarcinoma.
