This antibody detects endogenous levels of total NDFIP1 protein.
Target Information
NEDD4 family-interacting protein 1 (NDFIP1) is an integral Golgi membrane protein with three transmembrane domains. It interacts with the Nedd4 family of ubiquitin ligases and is implicated in neuronal survival following cortical brain injury. Overexpression enhances neuron survival under growth factor deprivation. NDFIP1 and NDFIP2 are involved in the regulation of EGF and PTEN/Akt signaling pathways and may play a role in Th17 differentiation by limiting proinflammatory cytokine production.
