Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit IgG targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled rabbit immunoglobulins, these antibodies can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
