- In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human PLA2G-2A, recombinant mouse PLA2G-2A, and rhPLA2G-1B is observed.

Target Information
Platelet Activating Factor (PAF) is a biologically active phospholipid that exerts proinflammatory activities through G-protein-coupled receptors on platelets, neutrophils, and monocytes.
Platelet Activating Factor Acetylhydrolase (PAF-AH) is a secreted enzyme that hydrolyzes the sn2 ester bond of PAF, converting it to biologically inactive lyso-PAF.
PAF-AH also interacts with LDL particles to hydrolyze oxidized phospholipids, generating lysophosphatidylcholine (lyso-PC) and other lysophospholipids.
