Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The GCM1 gene encodes a DNA-binding protein containing a gcm-motif (glial cell missing motif).
It is a homolog of the Drosophila glial cells missing gene (gcm).
This protein binds to the GCM-motif (A/G)CCCGCAT, a novel sequence among known DNA-binding protein targets.
The N-terminal DNA-binding domain confers the unique DNA-binding activity of this protein.
