Target Information
PBK (TOPK) is a serine/threonine kinase related to dual-specific mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPKK). It is up-regulated in various hematological malignancies, participates in activating lymphoid cells, and supports testicular function (spermatogenesis). Mitotic phosphorylation is required for its catalytic activity. This kinase may play roles in lymphoid cell activation and spermatogenesis.
