Target Information
Laminins는 세포외 기질 당단백질로, basement membrane의 주요 비콜라겐 성분입니다. 세포 부착, 분화, 이동, 신호전달, 신경돌기 성장 및 전이 등 다양한 생물학적 과정에 관여합니다. Laminin은 α, β, γ의 세 가지 사슬로 구성되며, 각 사슬은 독립적인 유전자로 암호화됩니다.
Laminin gamma-2 사슬은 피부, 폐, 신장 등의 상피세포에 특이적으로 발현되며, α3 및 β3 사슬과 함께 Laminin 5를 형성하여 상피세포를 basement membrane에 연결하는 역할을 합니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 junctional epidermolysis bullosa와 같은 피부 질환과 관련이 있습니다. 두 가지 전사 변이가 알려져 있으며, 각각 다른 배아 조직에서 발현됩니다.
