Target Information
L-plastin은 fimbrin 단백질 패밀리에 속하는 백혈구 특이 actin bundling 단백질입니다. 두 개의 actin-binding domain과 두 개의 EF-hand형 calcium-binding domain을 가지고 있으며, 염증 자극에 반응하여 headpiece 영역의 serine 잔기에서 인산화됩니다.
L-plastin은 백혈구에서 integrin 매개 부착 조절에 관여할 것으로 추정됩니다. 또한 대부분의 인간 고형암 세포주에서 발현되며, 남성호르몬 수용체 양성 전립선 및 유방암 세포에서 testosterone에 의해 발현이 증가합니다. 이는 유전자 상류 영역에 위치한 세 개의 androgen receptor 결합 요소를 통해 조절됩니다.
