Target Information
NR2E3는 NR2 Hepatocyte NF4-Like Receptor로, 눈 발달 과정에서 cone 세포 증식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 인간 망막 형성 시 광수용체 표현형 결정에 중요한 역할을 하며, RD7 생쥐에서 NR2E3 결손은 유전성 망막 형성이상 및 변성을 유발합니다. 또한 NR2E3의 동형접합성 미스센스 돌연변이는 Belmonte 지역의 Crypto-Jews에서 망막색소변성증(retinitis pigmentosa)과 연관되어 있습니다. 두 가지 대체 스플라이싱 이소폼이 보고되었으며, NR2E3는 망막에서 발현됩니다. 또한 인간 폐, 대장, 난소의 암 조직과 정상 안구 조직에서 EST가 분리된 바 있습니다.
