For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CBX8 is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, which maintains transcriptional repression of various genes (including Hox genes) during development.
The PRC1 complex functions via chromatin remodeling and histone modification, mediating monoubiquitination of histone H2A at Lys-119, leading to heritable changes in chromatin expressibility.
