Target Information
Langerin (CD207)은 랑게르한스 세포에서만 발현되는 type II 막 결합 C-type lectin입니다. 단일 carbohydrate recognition domain (CRD)을 통해 만노스 잔기를 인식하며, 세포 표면뿐 아니라 Birbeck 과립(Birbeck granules)과 밀접하게 연관된 세포 내에서도 발견됩니다. Langerin cDNA를 섬유아세포에 형질도입하면 Birbeck 과립의 전형적인 구조를 가진 막 네트워크를 형성합니다. Langerin은 막 중첩과 결합을 유도하여 Birbeck 과립 형성을 촉진하는 역할을 합니다.
