Target Information
CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily containing two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on nearly all peripheral B cells and certain myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 serves as a key regulator of B cell activation and proliferation, functioning as a signal-amplifying coreceptor with the B cell receptor (BCR). Mutations in CD19 can lead to hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression may cause B cell hyperactivity.
