• In sandwich ELISAs, no significant cross-reactivity or interference was observed with recombinant human or mouse cytokines including IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-7, IL-8, FGF acidic/basic, G-CSF, GM-CSF, LIF, PDGF, TGF-β, TNF-α, TNF-β, etc.
• This antibody does not neutralize the biological activity of recombinant mouse IL-3.
• Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
• Endotoxin level: <0.10 EU per 1 µg (LAL method).

Target Information

Interleukin 3 (IL-3), also known as Mast Cell Growth Factor (MCGF), Multi-Colony Stimulating Factor (multi-CSF), or Eosinophil-CSF (E-CSF), is produced by activated T cells, mast cells, and eosinophils.
IL-3 is a hematopoietic growth factor that stimulates colony formation of erythroid, megakaryocyte, neutrophil, eosinophil, basophil, mast cell, and monocytic lineages.
Its bioactivity is species-specific; human IL-3 does not act on mouse cells.
IL-3 promotes proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis of hematopoietic cells and may have neurotrophic activity related to neurological disorders.
