Product Specific Information
- Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
- The antigen is homologous in rat, mouse, and monkey.
- Specificity: Recognizes both phosphorylated and unphosphorylated Cofilin-1.
Target Information
Cofilin binds to F-actin and exhibits pH-sensitive F-actin depolymerizing activity.
It regulates actin cytoskeleton dynamics, is important for mitosis and cytokinesis, and plays a role in cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization.
Cofilin is required for the up-regulation of atypical chemokine receptor ACKR2 from endosomal compartment to the cell membrane, enhancing chemokine uptake and degradation.
It is also essential for neural tube morphogenesis and neural crest cell migration.
