Product Specific Information
- Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
- The peptide is homologous in rat and mouse.
- Specificity: Cofilin-1. Recognizes both phosphorylated and unphosphorylated forms.
Target Information
Cofilin binds to F-actin and exhibits pH-sensitive F-actin depolymerizing activity. Regulates actin cytoskeleton dynamics and is crucial for normal mitosis and cytokinesis. Plays a role in cell morphology and cytoskeletal organization. Required for the regulation of atypical chemokine receptor ACKR2 trafficking, enhancing chemokine uptake and degradation. Essential for neural tube morphogenesis and neural crest cell migration.
