Target Information
Protects cells and enzymes from oxidative damage by catalyzing the reduction of hydrogen peroxide, lipid peroxides, and organic hydroperoxide via glutathione. May contribute to a glutathione peroxidase-like protective system against peroxide damage in sperm membrane lipids.
