Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Vesicle-associated membrane protein-associated protein B/C (VAPB) is encoded by the VAPB gene on human chromosome 20. This type IV membrane protein is located in plasma and intracellular vesicle membranes. It forms homodimers and heterodimers with VAPA, and interacts with VAMP1 and VAMP2, suggesting a role in vesicle trafficking.
