Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Teck is observed, and less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human MIP-3 beta is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha (MIP-3α), also known as CCL20, is expressed in the liver, lungs, lymph nodes, and peripheral blood lymphocytes. MIP-3α is upregulated by inflammatory signals and downregulated by the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10. It signals through the G protein-coupled receptor CCR6 and acts as a chemoattractant for lymphocytes and dendritic cells.
