Product Specific Information

Description:
The 3.9 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD11c, the 150 kDa integrin alpha X chain. CD11c non-covalently associates with beta2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer. This complex is expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, macrophages, NK cells, dendritic cells, and subsets of T and B lymphocytes. CD11c/CD18 binds to CD54, iC3b, and fibrinogen and plays a role in leukocyte adhesive interactions.

Applications Reported:
This antibody is suitable for flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (final volume 100 µL). Cell number may vary (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Fluorochrome Information:
Alexa Fluor® 532 is excited with the Green laser (532 nm) and emits at 561 nm. Not compatible with the Yellow-Green laser (561 nm). Recommended filter: 560/14 band pass. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Target Information

CD11, along with CD18, forms a heterodimer adhesion molecule.

• CD11a: Expressed in B and T lymphocytes, macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, basophils, and eosinophils.
• CD11b: Expressed by monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some B and T cells, and granulocytes.
• CD11c: Expressed in monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, some granulocytes, and a subset of lymphocytes.
