Target Information
The Golgi apparatus participates in glycosylation and transport of proteins and lipids in the secretory pathway. It consists of stacked cisternae and interacts with microtubules, which is important for Golgi reorganization during mitosis. Golgins are a family of Golgi-localized proteins, and the protein encoded by this gene is associated with Sjogren’s syndrome.
