Target Information
CD33는 sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin (Siglec) 계열의 막단백질로, ITIM(inhibitory motif)을 포함하여 SHP-1 및 SHP-2 단백질 인산화효소를 신호 복합체로 유도합니다. 이러한 ITIM은 또한 수용체의 유비퀴틴 매개 제거 과정에 관여합니다.
CD33는 골수계(myelomonocytic) 계통의 세포에서 발현되며, 세포 표면의 N- 및 O-glycan의 sialic acid 잔기에 결합합니다. 급성 골수성 백혈병의 치료 표적으로 연구되고 있으며, 골수 내 과립세포 및 대식세포 전구세포에서 발현되지만, 다능성 줄기세포에서는 발현되지 않습니다.
CD33는 말초 단핵구에서도 발현되어, 골수성 백혈병 세포를 림프성 또는 적혈구성 백혈병 세포와 구분하는 데 유용한 표지자로 사용됩니다.
CD43 기능 이상과 관련된 질환으로는 담낭 림프종 및 피부 외 마스토시토마가 보고되어 있습니다.
