Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
NUS1 forms a complex with DHDDS to create the dehydrodolichyl diphosphate synthase (DDS) complex, essential for dolichol monophosphate (Dol-P) biosynthesis.
It catalyzes the addition of multiple isopentenyl pyrophosphate (IPP) units to farnesyl pyrophosphate (FPP), producing dehydrodolichyl diphosphate (Dedol-PP), a dolichol precursor used in protein glycosylation within the endoplasmic reticulum (ER).
NUS1 regulates glycosylation and stability of nascent NPC2, promoting LDL-derived cholesterol trafficking, and acts as a receptor for the N-terminus of Nogo-B, a neural and cardiovascular regulator.
