Product Specific Information

This NGZB monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse Granzyme B, a serine protease found in cytotoxic T cells and NK cells. Granzyme B induces apoptosis in target cells through mannose 6-phosphate receptor-mediated pathways.
It does not cross-react with human Granzyme B and recognizes a distinct epitope compared to GB11.

Applications Reported: Intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Validated using mouse splenocytes with the Intracellular Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Set (Product #88-8824-00).
Recommended use: ≤ 0.125 µg/test in 100 µL volume. Cell count may vary (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
Careful titration is recommended for optimal performance.

Target Information

Granzyme B is a serine protease localized in cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) and NK cells. It mediates apoptosis via caspase-3 activation and mitochondrial pathways (Bid cleavage).
It is also known as CGL1 and CTLA-1, expressed only after T cell activation.
Granzymes (A–G) have been cloned from mouse CTLs and NK cells; fewer have been identified in humans.
