Product Specific Information

This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select the best candidates for production.

Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:

  • Better specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulations
  • Broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to the larger rabbit immune repertoire

This antibody specifically recognizes Mouse IL36G.

Target Information

Cytokine that binds to and signals through the IL1RL2/IL-36R receptor, activating NF-kappa-B and MAPK pathways. It is part of the IL-36 signaling system, functioning in epithelial barriers and local inflammatory responses, similar to the IL-1 system. Plays a role in skin inflammation by acting on keratinocytes, dendritic cells, and indirectly on T-cells to promote tissue infiltration, maturation, and proliferation.

In cultured keratinocytes, it induces the expression of various chemokines (e.g., CCL3, CCL4, CCL5, CCL2, CCL17, CCL22, CXCL8, CXCL1) and proinflammatory markers such as TNF-alpha, S100A7/psoriasin, and inducible NOS. It may also contribute to proinflammatory responses during neutrophilic airway inflammation and innate immune responses to fungal pathogens such as Aspergillus fumigatus.
