Description:
The HK5.3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse B7RP-1 (also known as B7h, B7-H2, GL50, and ICOS Ligand). B7RP-1 is a member of the B7 family with a predicted molecular weight of ~40 kDa and belongs to the Ig superfamily. It is expressed by antigen-presenting cells such as B cells, monocytes/macrophages, and dendritic cells. B7RP-1 binds to the ICOS molecule expressed on activated T cells, playing a key role in T cell costimulation.

Applications Reported:
This HK5.3 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended for ≤0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Cell count should be optimized per experiment (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Antibody titration is recommended for optimal performance.

Target Information

Inducible co-stimulator ligand (ICOSL) is a ligand on antigen-presenting and peripheral tissue cells that binds to the inducible co-stimulator receptor (ICOS). ICOS belongs to the CD28/CD152 receptor family, regulating T-cell activation and function. ICOSL expression is found on monocytes, dendritic cells, and B cells and can be induced by inflammatory stimuli. Binding to ICOSL provides a co-stimulatory signal for T cell proliferation and cytokine secretion.
