Target Information
The CHD4 gene product is a member of the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family and a core component of the nucleosome remodeling and deacetylase complex. It plays a critical role in epigenetic transcriptional repression. Autoantibodies against CHD4 are found in patients with dermatomyositis.
