Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as B7-H1) is a B7 family member that interacts with the programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1). This interaction negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling, decreasing TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 is abundantly expressed on various murine and human cancers and can be upregulated by IFN-gamma stimulation, suggesting its role in tumor immune evasion.
