Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds to the programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 reduces TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production and is abundantly expressed in many murine and human cancers, with expression upregulated by IFN-gamma stimulation. PD-L1 plays a key role in tumor immune evasion.
