• Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on the sample size.
• The antibody is shipped as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.

• For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the gap junction protein family. Gap junction proteins are membrane-spanning proteins that form channels allowing the transfer of ions and small molecules between cells. Based on sequence similarities, these proteins are categorized into alpha and beta groups. Mutations in this gene are associated with X-linked Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, an inherited peripheral neuropathy. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have also been identified.
