- Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.

Target Information
CACNA1D (also known as PASNA, SANDD, or CaV1.3) encodes the alpha-1D subunit of voltage-dependent calcium channels. These channels mediate calcium ion entry into excitable cells and are involved in muscle contraction, hormone or neurotransmitter release, and gene expression.
Calcium channels are multisubunit complexes composed of alpha-1, beta, alpha-2/delta, and gamma subunits. The alpha-1 subunit forms the channel pore, while auxiliary subunits regulate its activity.
Distinct calcium channel types arise from expression of various alpha-1 isoforms (A, B, C, D, E, and S). Multiple transcript variants for CACNA1D have been identified.
