Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody is shipped lyophilized at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week; for longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

This gene encodes one family member of vacuolar protein sorting 10 (VPS10) domain-containing receptor proteins.
The VPS10 domain name originates from the yeast carboxypeptidase Y sorting receptor Vps10 protein.
Members of this gene family are large with many exons, but CDS lengths are usually less than 3700 nt.
Very large introns separate the exons encoding the VPS10 domain, while smaller introns separate the remaining exons.
These genes are strongly expressed in the central nervous system.
