Target Information
HGS는 cytokine 및 growth factor에 의해 매개되는 intracellular signal transduction에 관여합니다. STAM과 결합 시 IL-2 및 GM-CSF 자극에 따른 DNA signaling을 억제하며, PI3-kinase의 vesicular pathway에서 직접적인 effector로 작용할 수 있습니다. 또한 clathrin을 모집하여 early 및 late endosome으로의 trafficking을 조절하고, ubiquitinated receptor를 clathrin-coated 영역 내에 집중시킵니다. STAM과 복합체를 형성할 때 receptor tyrosine kinase의 down-regulation에 관여하며, ubiquitin을 결합하여 lysosomal sorting/trafficking 과정으로 전달하는 sorting machinery로 작용합니다. HGS는 activin receptor complex에 SMADs를 효율적으로 모집하는 데 기여할 수 있습니다.
