SESTD1는 SEC14 및 spectrin repeat 도메인을 포함하는 단백질을 암호화하는 새로운 유전자로, 자발적 수축 및 접촉 반응 결함을 보이는 돌연변이 제브라피시에서 처음 확인되었습니다. SESTD1은 TRPC4 및 TRPC5 단백질과 상호작용하여 TRPC5의 수용체 매개 활성화에 필수적이며, TRPC 단백질의 새로운 조절자로 작용합니다.
