Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ZEB1 (Zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 1) acts as a transcriptional repressor and inhibits interleukin-2 (IL-2) gene expression. It modulates ATP1A1 promoter activity depending on cDNA quantity and cell type, represses E-cadherin promoters, and induces epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) by recruiting SMARCA4/BRG1.
ZEB1 also represses BCL6 transcription with CTBP1, positively regulates neuronal differentiation, and represses RCOR1 transcription during neurogenesis.
Mutations in the ZEB1 gene are associated with corneal dystrophy, posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy, and Fuchs endothelial dystrophy.
