Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ZEB1 (Zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 1)
ZEB1 acts as a transcriptional repressor that inhibits IL-2 gene expression. It can enhance or repress ATP1A1 promoter activity depending on cDNA quantity and cell type. ZEB1 represses E-cadherin promoters and induces epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) by recruiting SMARCA4/BRG1. It also represses BCL6 transcription in the presence of CTBP1, positively regulates neuronal differentiation, and represses RCOR1 activation during neurogenesis. Mutations in ZEB1 are associated with corneal dystrophies, including posterior polymorphous and Fuchs endothelial dystrophy.
