Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The SRSF9 protein is a member of the serine/arginine (SR)-rich family of pre-mRNA splicing factors that form part of the spliceosome. These proteins contain RNA recognition motifs (RRM) for RNA binding and RS domains for protein-protein interactions.
The RS domain, rich in serine and arginine residues, facilitates interactions among SR splicing factors.
SR proteins are critical for mRNA splicing, export from the nucleus, and translation. Two pseudogenes exist on chromosomes 15 and 21 for this gene.
