Target Information
ESE-1 (Epithelium-Specific Ets) is a tissue-restricted member of the ETS transcription factor family. It binds and activates the ETS binding site in the promoter of the keratinocyte differentiation marker gene SPRR2A, playing a critical role in epithelial cell differentiation.
