Product Specific Information
Allophycocyanin (APC) conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) is prepared from crosslinked APC and affinity-purified goat anti-rabbit IgG antibody.
This phycobiliprotein is optimally excited at 633 nm and can also be excited at 594 nm, allowing use with samples labeled with Texas Red or Alexa Fluor 594 dyes without an additional excitation source.
APC conjugates are suitable for flow cytometry and imaging applications and exhibit higher photostability compared to Cy5 conjugates.
Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit targets and provide versatility across multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence).
Signal amplification is achieved as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may undergo further purification or conjugation for enhanced specificity.

Other conjugate options include various Alexa Fluor, DyLight, FITC, HRP, PE, and Biotin labels. Custom conjugation is also available upon request.
